Art in Ice
Art in Ice is the creation of the artistic minds of Greg & Jill Butauski. Fusing ice with the painted canvas creates the most spectacular visual effect!
The marriage of these two art forms made its debut at our wedding. The photos represented here are the result of
It all begins with an idea. First, Jill will take the brush and paint to the canvas. Jill specializes in creating a concept and painting it in its abstract form, this alone creates a fantastic viewing! Once the paintings are completed, we move on to ice. Greg will take Jill's concepts, freeze them into the ice, and create the ultimate crystal picture frames...transforming these one dimensional paintings into a 3-dimensional sculpture.
Art In Ice is for the most upscale of settings; including gallery showings, weddings, or corporate events. Every creation is an original. Concepts and ideas are welcome.
We're so Square The concept started with all square frames painted in different textures with a black and white theme. Each canvas has a different design that represents the mixing of our lives, now forever bound. The ice frames consist of lines, ripples, and starbursts. These contrasting textures were made to enhance the beauty of the paintings. The squares shapes show the side of our lives which represent our daily routines.
But, sometimes we're Round The circular designs show our softer sides. The paintings mixtures become more complex and blended. The round ice frames are built in such away that they could not stand on their own, each frame provides support and stability for the next.
Celebrate with us The bar top has a mural embedded in the ice, as you look down through you will see; the champagne glass, for our first toast; the rocks glass, for my scotch on the rocks; the martini glass, Jill's drink of choice; and, the highball and wine glass, meant for all our family and guests to enjoy.
